England-West Indies2nd test 1st day abondoned:

The second test between West Indies and England has been abondoned for the first day by the match Hurst, as both the West Indian bowlers complained of a poor run-up in the ground. The umpires Rudi Koerston and Tony Hill after consulting with the match refree declared that the match being abondoned for the day, but the fate of the match lies in the hands of WCB and ICC. Earlier captains of both the teams have accepted to play at the Sir. Vivian Richards ground as there were complaints on this ground's run-up and the grass in the outfield not properly grown . Nobody had ever checked this ground for play, and this is given fresh for the Internatinal match after beong relaid last year.
